1. Information We Collect
When you use the OCP student portal we collect: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, state of origin, JAMB registration number, JAMB score, programme of choice, payment records, and any documents you upload (passport photo, O’Level results).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process your admission application and screening.
- To issue matriculation numbers and admission letters.
- To process tuition and acceptance fee payments via Flutterwave.
- To send you administrative notices about your studies.
- To comply with regulatory reporting (NBTE, JAMB, Ministry of Education).
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) Flutterwave for payment processing, (b) JAMB and NBTE as required by law, (c) law enforcement when compelled by valid court order.
4. Data Security
Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 before storage. Payment card details are processed entirely by Flutterwave and never touch our servers. Despite our safeguards, no system is 100% secure; you use the portal at your own risk.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to privacy@ocp.edu.ng. We will respond within 30 days as required by NDPR.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
The portal uses browser session storage to keep you signed in during your visit. Application data is stored securely on the server database. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
